Have to take them with a grain of salt-a massive one. And there are also people who will slam a place if they happen to see a napkin on the floor. Also, the people who have a bad experience tend to post the most reviews.
But I'm trying to remember that we just went through a pandemic and it's going to take a while for hotels to recover back to normal operations and levels of service, cleanliness, etc. I've been reading a ton of hotel reviews for both GN and Rio, and both scare me. We're going early next year for our 25th anniversary (well, 26th, but the pandemic cancelled all our plans).
